Lizard-like bipeds, Drog prefer damp, swampy environments, but will be found in all terrains and climates (although they are very rare in arctic conditions). Generally, high technology is within their understanding and most are trained with firearms and powerblades to some degree.

Drog use standard power weapons when attacking and some even possess hand-to-hand combat skills. Drog prefer to fight from a mounted position and generally employ runners (two or four-legged) for this tactic.

It is common for Drog to form loose tribes in order to raid more efficiently. Superior numbers is the keystone of Drog attacks, and they will almost never attack if outnumbered, prefering rather to hide and wait for easier prey.   (pg. 222)
